The 2017 Honda Civic Si is scheduled to debut to the general public at the New York Auto Show, however the company has decided to showcase the vehicle online tomorrow. The new Civic Si, both coupe and sedan models, will be previewed on the Honda’s YouTube channel on April 6th at 8:00 am (PDT).
The first-time Honda Civic Si revealed to the public was last year, although it was in concept form. The production model will be powered by a 1.5L turbocharged inline-four cylinder engine paired with a six-speed manual transmission system. Additional details such as horsepower, torque and price will be disclosed on April 6th during the online debut. It was already leaked a few days back that the Civic Si will deliver 192 lb.-ft of torque, thanks to the folks at CivicX.com.
The prototype featured special sport seats, Si badging, aluminum shift knobs, carbon fiber trim and a red TFT display. According to Honda, the interior of the prototype will be very much similar to the production model.
