Supported by Qatar Prime minister and organized by Qatar Tourism Authority and Fira Qatar, the Qatar Motor Show 2017 will be held from 18th – 22nd April 2017 at Doha Exhibition and Convention Center. This is the most awaited event for not only the automotive enthusiasts in Qatar but also for people around the world. With the theme of “Driving to Innovation”, the show intends to provide a platform for worldwide exhibitors to showcase their latest technologies, innovations and performance trends governing the global automotive market. The show will bring fans, car lovers, car retailers and opportunists all under one roof with 21 brands exhibiting their top sports and luxury offerings.
In a press conference held on last Monday, Ahmed al-Obaidli, QTA exhibitions director explained that holding QMS after the Geneva Motor Show in April will provide automotive brands the opportunity to display their new models for the first time in the region. He said that the Qatar Motor Show 2017 (QMS) continues to build its image as an important automotive event as well as establishing Qatar as a state that is playing a vital role in shaping the future of auto industry.
According to COO Elan Entertainment, Ahmed Al Mulla, the purpose of QMS is to bring automotive lovers close to their favorite brands while providing exhibitors the opportunity to display their latest technologies being integrated in the automotive industry. He further stated that the dates of QMS have been shifted to align with the international automotive calendar and avoid over lapping.
The 5-day event will also give visitors an opportunity to participate as well as appreciate the enchanting parade of luxurious cars in West Bay. Classical cars and some of the rarest collectibles will also be part of the parade.
