The 2019 Bentley Flying Spur luxury sedan will be with us on the roads soon, as the automaker has begun the testing procedures for the car. Bentley is using a longer wheelbase version of the Porsche Panamera, as a testing mule for the Flying Spur. It will ride on the same MSB-F platform.
Talking about the design of the prototype, it features a long set of rear doors, elongated roof line and a lengthened wheelbase, which tells that it will definitely be longer than the Porsche Panamera executive with an overall length of 5,199 mm. It is also reported that the Flying Spur styling details will be similar to the EXP10 Speed 6 Concept.
Adopting the MSB-F platform means the Flying Spur will boast a lightweight structure, thanks to the usage of high-strength steel and aluminum. The powertrain details have not been disclosed yet, but the 2019 Bentley Flying Spur is expected to carry the Porsche’s direct-injection 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 unit pumping out 541 horsepower and 770 Nm of torque. The upper trim levels might be equipped with a 6.0L W12 unit.
The 2019 Bentley Flying Spur will make its debut sometime next year and will hit the dealerships in late 2018 or early 2019. More details will be uncovered in the coming weeks.
