After three years of wait, the luxury Italian automaker has finally decided to launch the facelifted Maserati Ghibli and it has been caught testing on the roads of Sweden.

Talking about the exterior updates, although most parts of the car were camouflaged, but we can see the front fascia features updated headlights with chrome highlights and revised grille design, which now appears to be more round in shape. Moreover, the rear bumper and the taillights have been redesigned. Besides these few changes, the rest looks almost the same.

The interior was not spied, but we can expect the facelifted model to have a new 8.4-inch UConnect infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. The powertrain is expected to remain same i.e. a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 petrol and a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged diesel. The V6 unit allows the Ghibli to go from 0 to 100 km/h (0 to 62 mph) in just 5.5 seconds with a top speed of 267 km/h (166 mph).
