Get ready to welcome a new sporty Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid sedan which is due to make its debut at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show and will take the top rank in the Panamera lineup.
The Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid sedan will be equipped with a 4.0-liter V8 engine sourced from the Panamera Turbo paired with an electric motor. The powertrain will be mated to an eight-speed PDK gearbox creating up to 680 horsepower and 628 pound-feet of torque. The hybrid sedan will be capable of going from 0 to 62 mph (0 to 100 km/h) in just 3.4 seconds with a top speed of 193 mph (310 km/h).
The electric motor will be powered by a 14.1kWh lithium ion battery pack, which could be charged in six hours using the regular 3.6kW charger. With the 7.2kW charger, it will take only 2 hours and 24 minutes to completely charge the battery. The automaker says the Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid sedan could cover up to 31 miles solely on battery power.
Besides a sturdy powertrain, the Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid sedan will also extend numerous performance features including carbon-ceramic brakes, dynamic chassis control with torque vectoring, air suspension system and Porsche Active Suspension Management.
We expect the Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid sedan to make its debut in the UAE shortly after it is released in the international markets.
