We have already seen a couple of teaser images of the 2018 Toyota Yaris GRMN and now the automaker has officially revealed the hot hatchback featuring a phenomenal powertrain.
The 2018 Toyota Yaris GRMN carries a supercharged 1.8-liter inline-4-cylinder engine which produces up to 205 horsepower. It also features various performance-oriented components such as an aero kit, upgraded breaks, an enhanced suspension system and new wheels.
The automaker did not reveal any information regarding the interior or technological equipment, but we do know that it will boast latest facilities and a modern cabin design.
The name GRMN stands for Gazoo Racing Masters of Nürburgring, though it is still not clear how to pronounce it.
The official debut will take place at the Geneva Auto Show 2017, where the Ford Fiesta ST and the Volkswagen Polo GTI will also be revealed. Toyota has not yet disclosed if the Yaris GRMN will make its way into the US markets or not. We also don’t have any information about the hatchback’s arrival in the UAE.
Besides the GRMN hatchback, Toyota will also preview the i-TRIL concept at the auto show. More details will be revealed once the show kicks off in March.
