A new mid-size SUV concept by the South Korean automaker, SsangYong is about to make its debut at the Geneva Auto show 2017. The company has also released the first sketch of the vehicle. The SUV titled as the SsangYong XAVL Concept will adopt some of its styling cues from the XAV concept, which was revealed by the automaker in 2015 at the Frankfurt Auto show.
The SsangYong XAVL Concept will be a seven-seater SUV and will boast a large and spacious interior. Moreover, it will also encompass latest and advanced technological facilities including a large infotainment display.
SsangYong confirms that the XAVL Concept will have modern safety features to ensure the protection of both the driver and the passengers. It is currently not clear what platform the XAVL Concept will ride on, but we know that all the technologies and components used in building this SUV have come from within the company or its parent company.
In terms of size, the SsangYong XAVL Concept will be similar to the Audi Q5, which is 4,630 mm long, 1,866 mm wide and 1,640 mm high.
It will most likely have both petrol and diesel engine options. More details will be unveiled when the SUV makes its debut in March.
