The Japanese automaker has just released a teaser image of its new Toyota i-TRIL concept car and it is ready to make appearance at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show next month.
The Toyota i-TRIL concept is a fully-electric 3 seater hatchback. Although the teaser image does not reveal much, but it seems the front profile resembles the Toyota i-Road concept, which was previewed at the Geneva Motor Show in 2013. The i-TRIL concept will also feature the Active Lean technology, same as was present in the i-Road concept. According to Toyota, the i-TRIL concept will showcase the automaker’s struggle in offering better mobility, that’s also environment friendly. It is designed by Toyota’s European division in coordination with the design center in Nice, France.
No powertrain details have been unveiled by Toyota yet. All we know is that it will feature a light-weight electric motor with a top speed of 30 mph max.
Besides the Toyota i-TRIL concept, the automaker will also display the facelifted Toyota Yaris and the new performance oriented Toyota Yaris GRMN producing up to 210 horsepower, at the Geneva Motor show. Stay tuned as we bring more details of the show in March, 2017.
