Great news for Tesla fans in Dubai! The Tesla UAE branch was officially launched by Tesla CEO, Elon Musk yesterday. The official launch event took place on 13th February at the Armani Hotel in Burj Khalifa. In addition to the debut of the Tesla Model X and Model S, the company has also opened a pop-up store in The Dubai Mall, a Ranger service and a new service center in Dubai. A Tesla store and service center are also planned for Abu Dhabi in 2018.

A Tesla UAE branch would be the first in the Middle East region. Musk cited that UAE’s environmental protection and sustainable energy plans have inspired him to launch their most advanced all-electric drives in the Emirates.

To persuade potential customers, Tesla has installed two superchargers for quick charging of Tesla cars, and has also announced to add 5 more superchargers and 50 destination chargers by the end of this year.

Those interested in buying the all-electric Tesla vehicles can place their orders by visiting the Tesla official website. The Model S starts at AED 275,000, while the Tesla Model X carries a price tag of AED 344,000. Customers can also reserve the Model 3 by paying an advance of AED 4,000. The deliveries will begin in summer.
