Universal Studios is collaborating with Brand Events (a production that initiated Top Gear Live) to start Fast and Furious Live Tour in January 2018, the location of which has not yet been revealed. The show promises to feature most cars shown in the film series along with the demonstration of electrifying stunts as performed in the movie by the help of smart projections and stunt artists.
The co-creators Chris Hughes and James Cooke-Priest (executive producers) along with Rowland French (writer/director) are the main brains behind the tour. This team also kick-started the Top Gear Live tour. The live arena tour will digitally develop the locations of Los Angeles to other destinations of the world. Any special guest appearances from the movie cast will add a touch of fascination to this tour. However, it is not confirmed whether anyone will be a part of the show.
The eighth instalment in the series will release on April14, 2017. The first trailer for ‘The Fate of the Furious’ made its debut on Sunday night (December 11, 2016). So far, F&F movies have gathered about $4 billion from worldwide box offices.
The script writing is quite pyrotechnic, but watching it projected in the real world in the form of Fast and Furious Live Tour will give the movie franchise a whole new dimension.
