Majid Al Futaim, MENA region’s paramount shopping mall operator, has initiated a Dh355 million restoration project for City Center Midriff Mall on February 1. The project aims on developing 1,000 new car parking spots on the latest upper deck along with the introduction of new entry-exit passages.
Covering a dimension of 96,000 square meters, the Dubai-based mall will not hamper the daily activities of occupants during redevelopment, which will last up to 15 months. The new parking facility will also include an electronically-operated parking guide to help visitors secure an unoccupied parking space and find their vehicles with ease afterwards.
The new car parking spots correspond to Majid Al Futtaim’s overall UAE expansion mission stated in June 2016 to regard direct customer’s feedback and improve its existing sites. The strategy involves a total investment of Dh48 billion to establish 10 latest city centers, 28 cinemas, 40 Carrefour supermarkets and a 740,000 square meters community by 2020 and 170,000 direct and indirect job opportunities by 2026 across the UAE.
Worth Dh300 million, Masdar City Center is also underway as claimed by Majid Al Futtaim in January. The 18,000 square meters shopping mall encompasses 60 outlets to enclose premium lifestyle, shopping, entertainment and luxury experiences all in one destination. Majid Al Futtiam looks forward to bring an incredible experience to its customers.
