Last year, we saw the Platinum Edition of the regular Porsche Cayenne with some impressive styling tweaks. Now, the automaker has also introduced the platinum edition Porsche Cayenne S and S Diesel.
One big enhancement on the exterior is the exclusive 21-inch Cayenne Sport Edition wheels with Platinum (satin-gloss) finish. Up front, the bi-xenon headlights along with Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS) come as standard. Moreover, a glossy jet black body paint is also available as an option.
The interior features heated, 8-way powered Alcantara sport seats, the Porsche Communication Management (PCM) system with online navigation and Connect Plus module, BOSE Surround system, new floor mats, power steering plus, rear parking assist and auto-dimming mirrors.
The platinum edition Porsche Cayenne S and S Diesel only extend cosmetic and technological enhancements, the powertrain remains the same. The S model retains the twin-turbo six-cylinder engine producing 420 horsepower, while the diesel variant carries the twin-turbo V8 unit rendering 380 horsepower.
In the international markets, the price for the Cayenne S Platinum is $94,290, while the S diesel variant starts from $97,498. Both the platinum models are listed on the Porsche UAE website, but the pricing details have not been announced yet.
