The all-new 2018 Subaru Crosstrek is scheduled to debut at the upcoming 2017 Geneva Auto Show. Let’s take a look at the aspects we know so far.
The 2018 Subaru Crosstrek will ride on the company’s new Global Platform. The same architecture is also present in the 2017 Impreza. With the new architecture, the new Subaru Crosstrek is expected to get bigger compared to the outgoing model. Moreover, it is likely to offer a better and improved fuel efficiency thanks to the new-generation direct-injection 2.0-liter boxer engine which will churn out 152 horsepower.
According to the automaker, drivers will also notice a change in the driving dynamics, thanks to the new powertrain which renders a comfortable and smooth drive. The body and chassis system has been enhanced too, plus the increase in the rigidity of the suspension system will reduce the body roll by 50 percent.
The 2018 Subaru Crosstrek is also expected to feature high-end safety features including Lane Keep Assist, High Beam Assist, and Reverse Automatic Braking. The interior will add latest technologies too such as the Apple Car Play and Android Auto.
The existing 2017 Subaru XV starts from AED 89,000 in the UAE, so we believe the 2018 Crosstrek will carry a higher price tag.
More details will be uncovered by the automaker as the Geneva Auto Show 2017 kicks off on 7th March. Stay Tuned!
