McLaren auto manufacturer with its exclusive retail partner in the UAE, Al-Habtoor Motors, has inaugurated McLaren’s new showroom on Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai. With a twin storey and a structure expanding up to 600 square meters, the site is marked globally as the most technically advanced facility.
The building was constructed with an investment of Dh4.47 million ($1.2 million). Along with an intricate exterior, the facility’s interior packs a coffee lounge, 15.5×7.5 LED screen displaying range of McLaren’s latest super and sports cars, branded lighting and high-tech configuration suite that provides a private yet comfortable space to the customers for deciding every aspect of their purchase virtually via a huge 4K-resolution screen.
McLaren reaffirmed the sales success of 2016 with a recorded sales growth for fifth consecutive year both globally and in the Middle East, Africa and Latin America. The Emirates region alone distributed over 200 cars in a single year for the first time. McLaren’s new showroom will also support future models that were revealed in McLaren Track22 Business Plan. The plan was announced in 2016 with the first 15 cars known to be the second generation of the Super Series that will make an appearance at the 87th Geneva International Motor Show coming this March 7.
Andreas Bareis (Managing Director for the MENA territory) is confident about getting near full-year benefits when the new partner showrooms start in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain. The facility will be a benchmark for any new McLaren showroom to be built globally.
