Union Motors, the exclusive distributor of Geely vehicles in the UAE, recently launched the new 2017 Geely Emgrand X7 Sport. The unveiling is to expand the Generation 3.0 lineup in hopes to improve its market share in the highly competitive SUV segment of the UAE.
The first batch of the 2017 Geely Emgrand X7 Sport was sold out to the customers through pre-booking long before it even arrived in the UAE. The SUV also enjoys good reputation in China. In December 2016 alone, Geely sold more than 20,000 units in the local market.
Talking about the SUV, the Emgrand X7 Sport boasts a bold and aesthetically designed body with sharp eagle-styled daytime running lights and impressive character lines. On the inside, the cabin offers some incredible technological features including an 8-inch touch display, rear parking assist, smartphone integration, iGO navigation system and more.
Under the hood, the 2017 Geely Emgrand X7 Sport houses a 2.4L naturally aspirated four cylinder engine good for 155 PS and 225 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a six-speed automatic transmission system.
The 2017 Emgrand X7 Sport is available in four trim levels with the base model ‘Advance’ carrying a price tag of AED 59,995, while the range topping grade is priced at AED 79,995.
