The 2017 North American International Auto Show was started on 8th Jan and we saw some amazing cars making their debut. However, Ford didn’t find the event fit to reveal its brand new 2018 Ford Mustang and launched the muscle car this week.
In terms of design, the 2018 Ford Mustang boasts a dropped nose, redesigned head lamps and new air intakes. Additionally, the rear of the muscle car has been revamped sporting enhanced bumper design and quad exhaust tips.
On the inside, the 2018 Ford Mustang features the latest digital clusters similar to the new Ford GT. These digital clusters show vital information about the vehicle such as current speed, fuel efficiency, and drive mode.
Talking about the powertrain, the new Ford Mustang will offer an upgraded 5.0-liter V-8 unit and a turbocharged 2.3-liter inline 4-cylinder engine, ditching the 3.7L V6. We are sure about 2.3L EcoBoost engine rendering extra torque, but how much, we are not sure. The automaker has not revealed any official figures yet. The 5.0L V8 is also expected to generate surplus power output. And most importantly, the engines can be paired with the new 10-speed automatic gearbox.
The 2018 Ford Mustang is most likely to hit the dealerships this fall.
