Boston RR Auction has arranged an auction of the Former President Barack Obama’s Motorcade Chairs. Obama personally utilized this black-leathered armchair back in his 2008 presidential campaign. This chair comes with a matching set and each carries a stamp of ‘Obama’08 President’ logo on the headrest. These cushion stuffed chairs are supported on a circular wooden hub and are being given away for $6,000 or more.
Obama carried out his presidential business on these two chairs. While he occupied one of them, the other one usually was filled by a trusty advisor, campaign surrogate, Senator Joe Biden, Robert Gibbs and David Axelrod or Michelle Obama. But more often, it used to be occupied by his assistants Reggie Love and Marvin Nicholson. Not only was he indulged in active affairs during his campaign, he used to nap on his motorcades too.
Obama’s campaign rented the automotives from Premiere Transportation Company. They tell, “Obama’s world essentially revolved around these two chairs.” These comfy chairs also recline as a barcalounger. Now someone has a chance to get Barack Obama’s Motorcade Chairs through RR Auction held from December 16th to January 11th. Famous autographs and artifacts are also up for grabs.
