A few weeks back we spotted the 2018 KIA GT at an undisclosed location, following that the automaker released two teaser videos revealing some important information regarding the car. Now, the Korean carmaker has released another video, which displays the exterior outline of the car from different angles.

The teaser video is named “The Silhouette,” and is shot in darkness, revealing only minute details about the 2018 KIA GT’s design. The first teaser video showed the GT racing at Nürburgring, but that video did not preview design details. The second teaser video disclosed that the 2018 KIA GT will be capable of accelerating from 0 to 62 mph in just 5.1 seconds, which makes it the fastest KIA car ever built.

Regarding the powertrain, Albert Biermann, Kia’s head of performance, mentioned that the 2018 KIA GT will be a rear-wheel drive sports sedan with a four-cylinder engine producing up to 315 bhp. For the European market, another variant carrying a 197 bhp 2.2-liter diesel unit will be launched.

The 2018 KIA GT will adopt the styling cues from the KIA GT concept, which was revealed in 2011. It is scheduled to make its debut next month at the Detroit Auto Show.
