A few months back we saw on the EPA website the fuel economy ratings of the AWD 2017 Dodge Challenger GT with no details about the launch of the vehicle. However, now the automaker has finally revealed the AWD muscle car and it looks absolutely fantastic.
The AWD 2017 Dodge Challenger GT rides on the Dodge Charger platform. The AWD technology features an active transfer case, which allows extra torque to be delivered to the front wheels when required.
The 2017 Challenger GT is going to carry a 3.6L V6 engine offering 305 horsepower and 268 lb.-ft of torque. The engine is mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox. Official statement suggests it would deliver an estimated fuel economy of 18 mpg city, 27 mpg highway.
On the inside, the AWD 2017 Challenger GT features powered leather upholstery, heated steering wheel, tilt/telescopic steering wheel, Uconnect 8.4-inch touchscreen display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and an Alpine sound system. It also includes rear park assist and a rearview camera system.
The production will begin in January next year. Shortly after that the AWD 2017 Challenger GT will arrive at
the dealerships.
