The new 2017 Vauxhall Insignia Grand Sport is due to launch next year. However, it has been recently spotted on the streets and that too without any disguise. Once launched, the 2017 Insignia Grand Sport will compete with the likes of BMW 3-Series, the Audi A4, Volkswagen Passat and the Mercedes C-Class.
Talking about the new Insignia Grand Sport, it will be larger and more spacious compared to the existing model. However, in terms of weight, it will be 175 kgs lighter, which means it will render a higher fuel economy rating and better aerodynamics. Judging by the spy shots, we can tell that the 2017 Insignia Grand Sport will be 6-inches longer than its predecessor and will feature a coupe like body style. The front fascia is pretty standard according to how Vauxhall vehicles usually look like. It boasts a new upright grille design and the IntelliLux LED headlamps for amazing visibility.
We don’t know what the 2017 Vauxhall Insignia Grand Sport will pack under the hood, but it is most likely to offer a range of gasoline and diesel engines rendering high performance and fuel efficiency.
The official launch is scheduled to take place next year at the Geneva Motor Show.
