On 2nd December 2016, the new Canadian automaker Girfalco introduced its latest three-wheel electric sports car concept, dubbed as the ‘Azkarra’. It promises a phenomenal performance. The Girfalco Azkarra is a two-seater and three-wheel sports car available in 2 trim levels – the standard Azkarra which is equipped with a single motor produces 100 horsepower and 1,060 lb.-ft of torque, while the Girfalco Azkarra S yields 301 horsepower and 1,124 lb.-ft of torque.
The automaker has not revealed other technical details regarding the powertrain, but the computer simulations predict that the Girfalco Azkarra will be capable of going from 0 to 62 mph (0 to 100 km/h) in just 4.5 seconds, whereas the Azkarra S will hit the 62 mph mark in just 2.5 seconds.
The battery pack installed in the Azkarra will of
fer a range of 124 miles. With the fast charging facility, it can charge up to 80 percent in just 30 minutes.
The production will be limited to 100 units and the starting price is expected to be around $51,000. The Azkarra S will be priced at $73,000. The first production models will arrive sometime next year.
