Ford Motor Company recently presented remodeled Fiesta cars. The one that most fans are awaiting for is the new Fiesta ST. Although it is still more than a year away from being formally launched in the market, the automobile community is already drooling over its revised features. Remember, the new Fiesta ST prototype was spotted on the roads in July earlier this year.
With a turbocharged inline-4 driving the front wheels, the ST promises to be racier than its predecessors. Tyrone Johnson, who heads development of ST and RS models at Ford Performance, shared several insights about what to expect from this new version. According to Tyrone, the new Fiesta ST will have borrowed features from the Focus RS for a rugged look. Although the power figures are not going to be matching the limited edition Fiesta ST200 (197 hp) launched at the Geneva Motor show in February this year, they are likely to be more than the current Fiestas (180 hp) available in the market.
The Ford Fiesta was even regarded as the best value pre-owned small hatchbacks to have in 2016. Car enthusiasts can expect to get their hands on this beauty in the second or third quarter of 2017.
