Mazda has finally raised the curtains off its most popular compact crossover SUV, 2017 Mazda CX-5, which has been redesigned and enhanced for a better driving experience.
The 2017 Mazda CX-5 will extend three powertrain options; two gasoline engines and one diesel unit. The gasoline engines include a 2.0L and a 2.5L four cylinder producing 155 horsepower and 184 horsepower respectively. On the other hand, the 2.2L diesel unit will only be available in the U.S.A market. The automaker says they have modified the chassis to reduce the road noise and make the drive more comfortable
Talking about the design, the 2017 Mazda CX-5 has a bold front profile featuring an elongated hood design, a large chrome grille and a slanted roofline.
The interior has been redesigned too and looks more upscale and opulent than its predecessor model. The infotainment display adopts the new ‘floating screen’ design and extends updated technologies. Moreover, the 2017 CX-5 will also benefit from advanced safety facilities including Mazda Radar Cruise Control and traffic sign recognition system.
It will be available in a new Soul Red paint scheme, also known as Soul Red Crystal. Expect the 2017 CX-5 to arrive at the dealerships sometime in 2017.
