On Monday, Ford revealed some details, which gave us a good insight about the vehicle. The US- spec EcoSport will carry a turbocharged 1.0-liter, inline 3-cylinder engine and it will be a front-wheel drive car. The range topping version would be equipped with a 2.0L engine mated to a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
On the inside, the 2018 Ford EcoSport will feature the Ford Sync 3 infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration. The center display will be an 8.0-inch touch screen. Moreover, it will also include two fast charging USB ports as well as a 12 volt power outlet.
Ford says the EcoSport will be a practical subcompact SUV with a lot of storage compartments and a big cargo space, plus foldable rear seats.
The Ford EcoSport will compete with the likes of Chevrolet Trax, Honda HR-V and Nissan Juke. It is expected to arrive at the dealerships by early 2018.
