The 2016 Los Angeles Auto show is going to kick off in a few days and we just got to know that the 2017 Jeep Renegade new editions, dubbed as the ‘Altitude’ and ‘Deserthawk’ will be making their debuts at the show.
The Renegade Altitude will include new 18-inch wheels, a sexy black paint, and a black color interior with dark seat shades. It will be available with a 2.4L engine mated to a 9-speed automatic gearbox or a 1.4L turbo unit with a 6-speed manual transmission system. The price of the Renegade Altitude will start at $22,390, excluding destination charges.
The other vehicle in the 2017 Jeep Renegade new editions is the Renegade Deserthawk which adopts a more aggressive look with an updated front fascia. It is accessible in black, sand and white colors. Furthermore, it features 17-inch black colored wheels, black leather seats and an all-weather floor protection kit. The Deserthawk can be better defined as a more enhanced version of the existing Trailhawk edition.
Moreover, the Deserthawk extends a low drive gear, hill descent control system and is capable of towing up to 2,000 pounds. It will be obtainable with only an in-line four cylinder engine mated to a 9-speed automatic gearbox. The price of the Deserthawk edition will start at $28,140.
