FCA’s Ram Truck division previewed the new and enhanced version of the 2017 Ram Power Wagon pickup truck at the 2016 Chicago Auto Show on February 11th, 2016 without the pricing details. Now the automaker discloses the pickup will start from $53,015 (including $1,320 freight).

The 2017 Ram Power Wagon is based on the Ram 2500 Heavy Duty 4×4 Crew Cab with a number of visual tweaks. The front fascia receives updated LED market lights and a new grille, which is similar to the Ram 1500 Rebel. The huge Ram Power Wagon badging at the back makes the pickup easily distinguishable among its competitors.

The new 33-inch tires complement the 17-inch alloy wheels beautifully. Furthermore, the overall height of the truck is 2 inches more than the predecessor model.

The interior remains almost the same, but the automaker says it offers better quality materials. Under the hood, it carries a 6.4L HEMI V8 engine paired to a six-speed automatic transmission system, which produces 410 horsepower and 429 lb-ft of torque. Moreover, the RAM Power Wagon is capable of towing up to 10,030 pounds.

It will arrive at the US dealerships by the end of this year. We don’t have any info about it coming to the UAE.
