Although, Renault can’t be compared to Tesla when it comes to producing electric vehicles, but with the new 2017 Renault ZOE, it looks like the automaker has managed to attain a good position in the market.
The automaker introduced the 2017 Renault ZOE at the recent Paris Motor Show. It was showcased featuring a new ZE 4.0 battery with a range of up to 250 miles which is the highest range in ZOE. Now, the 2017 Renault ZOE has been launched with two battery options; the Z.E.41kW battery and the 22kW battery. The entry-level model will be equipped with a 22 kW battery, while the top-of-the-range Signature Nav trim will feature the new Z.E.41kW battery.
Besides an efficient battery pack, the 2017 Renault ZOE will encompass advanced interior facilities such as a Renault R-Link2 7.0 infotainment system, TomTom navigation system, climate control, electric windows, electric side mirrors, cruise control, Bluetooth connectivity and more. Additionally, the Renault’s Z.E. Connect app will allow driver’s to check the battery status remotely through their smartphone.
In the U.K, the Renault ZOE’s base trim starts at £18,995 and is available for sale at the dealerships. However, the range-topping Signature Nav trim costs £19,895 and will hit the showrooms next year in January.
