The 2017 Mini Countryman has been spotted several times test driving in Germany. Now, we have finally received some official updates from the automaker.
The 2017 Mini Countryman will be 20 centimeters longer than its predecessors, making it the largest MINI ever produced. The longer length ensures spacious interior and more cargo space. Besides being spacious, the 2017 Mini Countryman will also include Electrical tailgate control, new center mounted infotainment display with touch controls, MINI connected apps – a personal assistant to aid the driver. The cargo space measures 450 liters, which is 220 liters more than the predecessor model.
The new Mini Countryman will be launched in five editions namely Mini Cooper Countryman, MINI Cooper S Countryman, MINI Cooper D Countryman and MINI Cooper SD Countryman. Moreover, a plug-in hybrid drive model dubbed as ‘MINI Cooper S E Countryman ALL4’ will be added to the lineup. The powertrain options will include 3 and 4-cylinder 1.5L and 2.0L engines.
The 2017 MINI Countryman will make its official debut next month at the 2016 LA Auto Show, followed by the market launch in 2017. We might see it at the dealerships in UAE sometime next year.
