Fast and Furious movie franchise has come a long way since it started in 2001. What was once about street racers is now looking to win Oscars. Vin Diesel believes that the Fast 8 has all the potential to win Oscar award. During an interview to Entertainment Tonight, he said that Fast 8 director F. Gary Gray is “taking the franchise to a new place–a place with Oscars.” Let’s find out what do we know so far about the movie.
Vin Diesel was seen driving Dodge Charger. There will three prominent entries including Charlize Theron, Scott Eastwood and Helen Mirren. We saw Jason Statham going into the grownd with a blast, but he will return. Parts of the movie are filmed in Cuba and New York. And of course, we will witness stunts like never before; something that would thrill and awe us in the cinema.
Fast 8 is currently in its final stages of production. Fans have to wait just a little more time to see the first trailer of new Fast and Furious installment, as it drops on December 11. Of course, that will just show us over-the-top glimpses of the movie. We have to wait till April 14, 2017 to find out if this is really Oscar worthy or not.
