Just a week ago, we saw the new GMC Duramax diesel V8 engine for the 2017 GMC Sierra 2500HD, and now the automaker has also launched an All-Terrain X off-road package for the brawny pickup.
The All-Terrain X off-road package includes a Z71 off-road suspension as standard, underbody protection as well as sporty 18-inch wheels with exclusive Goodyear tires, designed specifically for off-roading purposes. The X off-road package also adds an Eaton automatic locking rear differential and a tray mounted bar for installing lookout lights. On the inside, it offers a heated steering wheel and all-weather floor liners.
The new All-Terrain X off-road package is already available in GMC Canyon and GMC Sierra 1500 models. For the 2017 GMC Sierra 2500HD, it is accessible with the crew cab version with four-wheel drive option.
Interested customers can buy the Sierra 2500HD with either 6.0-liter V-8 powertrain or opt for the new Duramax 6.6-liter V-8 unit that produces 445 horsepower and 910 pound-feet of torque. Buyers also have a choice between two colors which are Black Onyx and Summit White.
The 2017 GMC Sierra 2500 HD starts at $33,155.
