Toyota beats its competitors once again and becomes the best global automaker brand according to Best Global Brands 2016 Rankings. Topping the list is Apple, followed by Google, Coca-Cola, Microsoft and then Toyota securing the fifth position.
Toyota succeeded in improving its position since last year it was on the 6th spot. No other automaker brand has made it to the top ten except Mercedes-Benz that took the 9th position. Next comes BMW, not too far from Mercedes-Benz, taking the 11th place on the list.
After the much needed hard work, Mercedes-Benz managed to outshine BMW this year. It was one place behind its rival last year.
Other automotive manufacturers that made to the list include Honda at the 21st spot, Ford at 33, Hyundai at 35 and Audi at 38. Volkswagen secured the 40th position on the list, then come Nissan at 43, Porsche at 50, Kia at the 69th position, Land Rover at 78, MINI at 88 and finally Tesla managed to take over the 100th spot.
The Best Global Brands 2016 Rankings are determined after analyzing the financial achievements of a particular brand, its reputation and the revenue potential.
