Good news! Hennessey has announced the VelociRaptor 6×6. Hennessey CEO and founder John Hennessey claims that the 2017 Hennessey VelociRaptor 6×6 is going to be one of the most extreme and exclusive factory-made trucks ever built. It will come with the same number of wheels as the Mercedes-AMG G63 6×6, but will be a lot cheaper starting at $295,000 compared to AMG’s $500,000 price tag.
The standard F-150 raptor has a twin turbocharged 3.5-litre V-6 engine pumping out 450 horsepower. But if you are willing to spend $22,500 extra, Hennessey will add HPE600 package in the VelociRaptor 6×6 to bump the power over 600 hp.
The Hennessey VelociRaptor 6×6 will have the Ford’s new ten-speed transmission. The HPE600 package includes bigger turbos, upgraded exhaust, and a more efficient intercooler. It also offers newer ECU tuning.
Hennessey’s new performance kit also includes locking rear axles, upgraded suspension with the high performance Fox shocks, and new 20-inch wheels with big off-road tyres. The new body kit includes a stretched bed, mean-looking front and rear bumpers, a new roll cage and high powered searchlight-sized LED lights.
The modified suspension would enable the Hennessey VelociRaptor 6×6 to conquer any type of terrain. Furthermore, customer could also opt for better brakes, body armor, LED lighting upgrades and a tailor-made customised interior.
With all the upgrades, the grand total reaches to $317,500. The Hennessey VelociRaptor 6×6 can be directly ordered through Hennessey or from select Ford dealerships.
