Ever since the Top Gear trio left the most famous television motor show, fans have been desperately waiting for the launch of their new show known as ‘The Grand Tour’, which includes all three hosts including Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May. Amazon also recently released a trailer video of The Grand Tour, which gives us a pretty good idea about what to expect from it. However, the biggest news comes from ‘The Sun’ News Company, which says that Amazon spent roughly $3.2 million to make the opening scene of ‘The Grand Tour’. Now that’s enormous!
So what does the $3.2 million opening scene of The Grand Tour includes? The Sun report mentions that it features 150 cars, 2,000 acrobats and 6 jet planes. All the three hosts will be seen sprinting across the Californian desert driving modified ford mustangs which would be painted in America’s colours. Behind the mustangs, 150 other vehicles including Rolls-Royce and Bugatti Veyron would be following the lead.
Jeremy Clarkson also added a picture on his twitter recently, which showcases some of the cars that would be seen in the opening scene of ‘The Grand Tour’.
The Grand Tour will go live on November 18th as an Amazon Prime exclusive and a new episode will come out every Friday for 12 weeks.
