The new Ferrari LaFerrari Aperta made its world premiere on 29th September at the 2016 Paris Auto Show to celebrate the Italian automaker’s 70th birthday.

The Ferrari LaFerrari Aperta is basically an open top version of the regular LaFerrari. It is available with a soft top roof; however, customers can also opt for a carbon fibre lid for an extra cost. Under the hood, the Ferrari LaFerrari Aperta carries the same 6.3-litre V12 hybrid powertrain found in the regular LaFerrari. The powertrain is mated to an electric motor and together they produce a total output of 950 horsepower. This powertrain allows the Aperta to hit the 62 mph (100 km/h) mark in less than 3 seconds. The maximum speed it can attain is around 217 mph.

Compared to the standard LaFerrari, the Aperta boasts some aerodynamic changes, which allow it to easily hit such top speeds. The automaker will build only 209 examples of the LaFerrari Aperta and we believe that they have already been sold out. However, the pricing details are unknown yet.

Besides the Aperta, Ferrari has introduced another spectacular sports car at the Paris Auto Show dubbed as the GTC4 Lusso T.
