The Mercedes E-Class All-Terrain, an off road version of the E-Class wagon, will be making its first public appearance at this year’s Paris Motor Show.
The German automaker has not released details of the All-Terrain, but it is expected to have a raised suspension and a tougher appearance in line with its off road capabilities. Powertrains will include 4 and 6-cylinder petrol and diesel engines paired with automatic transmission. The Mercedes E-Class All-Terrain will also be equipped with the Mercedes 4Matic all-wheel drive.
Other off road expected features include hill descent control and revised traction and stability control systems. The Mercedes Airmatic air suspension is also a likely inclusion in the package.
Deliveries are expected to begin by the end of this year or early 2017 for the European markets. No announcement has been made about availability in the US and UAE markets yet.
