The 2017 Nissan Rogue made its debut at the Miami Auto Show. Besides featuring loads of new interior features and exterior updates, it will now be available in a new hybrid powertrain too.

The 2017 Nissan Rogue hybrid will extend a 2.0-litre, 16-valve 4-cylinder gasoline unit mated to a 30kW electric motor. The battery will be powered by a lithium-ion battery. The fuel economy will be around 33 mpg city, 35 mpg highway and 34 mpg combined for the front wheel drive models.

On the outside, the 2017 Nissan Rogue gets new fog lamps, tail lights and an optional motion activated lift gate too. The interior offers new cloth seating material, heated steering wheel and seating with memory function.

Moreover, it also features a host of new safety features in the Nissan’s Safety Shield technology suite, including intelligent cruise control, pedestrian detection system with forward emergency braking, lane departure alert and more.

The 2017 Nissan Rogue will be available in three trim levels with an option of either front wheel or all-wheel drive. The automaker has also not revealed the pricing details, but we can expect the regular Rogue model to arrive sometime in November. The hybrid variant is most likely to hit the dealerships in December or the start of next year.
