The Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 4MATIC coupe makes a dynamic new addition to the Mercedes AMG product portfolio. Set to debut at the 2016 Paris Motor Show, Mercedes has introduced the coupe ahead of time to create the hype.
The new Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 4MATIC coupe has an elegant, sporty design. It is powered by a 3.0 litre V6 biturbo engine coupled with the 9G-TRONIC AWD automatic transmission. The V6 biturbo has also been utilised in a number of AMG performance models. It has an output of 367 hp and a max torque of 520 nm.
The coupe completes 0 to 100 km/h sprint in just 4.9 seconds and the top speed is electronically set to 250 km/h. There are three transmission modes: Sport, Sport Plus and Manual. A separate button in the centre console allows the driver to select manual mode. Gear changes can now be managed using the standard-fit shift paddles on the steering wheel.
The exterior features a diamond radiator grille with chrome pins and AMG lettering in chrome. A silver chrome front splitter ensures optimal airflow. The chrome-plated tailpipe trim elements add a sporty appeal. The interior colour combination adds to the dynamic look by contrasting functional black with red elements. The aluminium trim highlights the classy look.
The market launch of the Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 4MATIC coupe will be in December this year.
