UAE already has a strict traffic law for on-road child safety. As per law, a fine of Dh400 shall be charged to the motorist who is seen carrying a child less than ten years of age in the front passenger seat. Also, 4 points are subtracted from the driving license.
The memorandum is a symbol of unrelenting dedication of the Hyundai Motor Group with the RTA to improve road safety measures, added Mr. Dreyer.
