Motorsports enthusiasts will be thronging to Dubai for the first ever Emirates Motorsport Expo which will take place on September 2 at the Dubai Autodrome, Motor City.

The event will bring together top motorsports teams, competitors, stakeholders and fans, and aims to open up more opportunities for motorsports in the Emirates.

The first ever Emirates Motorsport Expo is being organised by Dubai Autodrome in partnership with the Automobile and Touring Club of the UAE (ATCUAE). The Dubai Sports Council is also supporting the event, which will comprise of all sorts of motorsports from circuit racing to cross country rallying for cars and bikes.

Bringing together top teams and stakeholders in one place offers a singular opportunity for those interested in taking part in motorsports to get firsthand accounts of what is involved along with benefitting from the experience of established players.

AUH Motorsport (Radicals), Dragon Racing (NGK & F4), Formula Gulf Academy (Single Seater), GP Extreme (NGK & F1), Saluki Motorsport (off-road) and UAE Superbikes are among the top racing teams that will be present at the Emirates Motorsport Expo.

ATCUAE hopes to use the opportunity to promote the new UAE Formula 4 Championship. Participants will include young drivers (aged 15 years) from the MENA region. The Championship, which will take place between Oct 2016 and Mar 2017) will encompass 18 races held over 6 events at the Dubai Autodrome and Yas Marina Circuits.
