The 2017 Toyota Camry is now available at Al-Futtaim Motors, the exclusive distributors of Toyota in the UAE. The new model is expected to retain its popular appeal, which is largely due to its best-in-class low cost of ownership.
The 2017 Toyota Camry boasts several new safety features. The Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), rear fog lights and TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitor System) are available as standard features in all four grades. The engine remains the same 2.5 L (181 hp), while the exterior has more refined styling.
The basic Camry S includes the standard safety features mentioned above along with keyless entry, steering wheel audio controls and cruise control. The price starts at AED 83,900.
Spend AED 6,000 more for the Camry SE (priced at AED 89,900) to get a new Auto Light Switch and 10-spoke 17-inch alloy wheel. The SE+ is a bit of a jump at AED 96,900, but worth the additional features, encompassing sunroof, push-start button, leather seats and a 4.2-inch TFT display unit for a more high-tech interior.
The top of the range Limited Camry sports a distinctive front grille and rear bumper with red highlights. The 17-inch 15-spoke alloy wheels add to the aggressive, sporty look, which is echoed in the silver sport interior. Leather steering wheel, touch-screen navigation, front and rear parking sensors and 6 air bags add to the merits of the Camry Limited, which is priced at AED 103,900.
The Toyota Camry was last year’s winner of the MECOTY “Best Midsize Sedan” award. Toyota sold 15 million units globally.
