Keeping in view the ride’s outstanding power capabilities, the pricing seems reasonable. The starting price of the 2017 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 is $62,135.
Under the hood, the car is equipped with the supercharged 6.2 litre V8 engine churning out a power of 650 horses and 650 pound feet of torque hooked up to either manual or an optional 10 speed automatic transmission. The ride can sprint from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.5 seconds and has a quarter mile time of 11.3 seconds at a speed of 127 mph. The ZL1 can grip 1.02 g at the turns and will come to rest from 60 mph in 107 feet.
The fore mentioned price is true for 2017 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 coupe. If you opt for the convertible, you will have to pay a premium of $7,000. You can also choose 10-speed automatic transmission in place of the manual, although the price difference has not been revealed by Chevrolet.
