The summer without accidents campaign has been launched by the Ministry of Interior last week. The campaign aims at minimising road accidents and increasing the road safety. It was launched on 13th July and is planned to serve until September 1.
A number of activities have been planned to boost responsiveness among drivers and road users regarding hazards created by different practices.
To meet the best results through this movement, Dubai traffic police itself have taken full responsibility of the campaign and are collaborating with more than 20 bodies working in the arena of traffic safety. They include both private and public organisations.
They aim to spread the word of safety through as many sources as possible. Strategies are being made to invite as many people as possible towards the summer without accidents campaign through social media, seminars and billboard advertisements.
