Those who are interested in the ever evolving landscape of Dubai, now have reason to be jubilant. It is evident that Google is prioritizing its focus on Dubai. The Umm Al Quwain has been recently mapped out by Google for the Google Street View. Moreover, the tech giant has also improved its outline of the desert city from space in another update of the renowned Google Earth.
A Google Street View car parked at the DXB International Airport Terminal 1 was promptly spotted and subsequently captured. The image was then shared on the reddit by the spy photographer. This implies that at least some sections of the city are set for a much awaited update since the last one was in 2014.
The imagery has now been made available for regular viewing depicting various important landmarks of Umm Al Quwain Street including the Old Town Area, the Umm Al Quwain National Museum, Beach Garden and the famous Soviet-era Ilyushin II-76 cargo plane, which stands abandoned now. This is done through an advanced technologically armored car combining multiple pictures in to a one huge panoramic view.
Similarly, NASA’s Landsat 8 satellite has captured a sharper Dubai as well as other high definition images of the planet for Google Earth.
I have already started to search for the Google Street View car and photo bomb myself into an image for the future many years to come. You should do the same as well.
