The Alfa Romeo Stelvio SUV was first spied in April 2016 and later was spied test driving near Nurburging. Seems it’s taking frequent rounds, so has been caught again by spy photographers somewhere in Turin, Italy.
Although it was heavily disguised, but we can still infer elements like the sloping roofline, the triangular front grille and the sharp headlamps similar to the Alfa Romeo Giulia. So much about the exterior, but the photographers never managed to take the pictures of the interior previously. But this time, they somehow captured a few pictures of the cabin.
The pictures of the interior are not very clear, but we can see a three spoke steering wheel with mounted controls and the wooden trim used near the gearbox. A rotary knob can also be seen placed near the gear stick.
The Alfa Romeo Stelvio SUV is expected to carry the same powertrain as the Giulia sedan i.e. a twin-turbo V6 engine producing 505 horsepower. According to FCA CEO, Sergio Marchionne, Alfa Romeo will launch eight new cars by 2018 and the Stelvio SUV is one of them.
It will be launched some time in 2017 as a 2018 model.
