Ford Motor Company has been spied testing what appears to be the new 2018 Ford Focus RS500. And it looks absolutely sleek wearing all those new enhancements.
The Ford Focus RS500 was first unveiled in 2010 to mark the end of production of previous generation Focus. And now the new Ford Focus is in works; the automaker is looking forward to launch a new RS500 model.
The spy shots reveal that this is in fact a new RS500 and not a regular Ford Focus due to some sporty elements such as hood vents and an upgraded rear wing.
The standard Ford Focus is equipped with a 2.3-litre 4-cylinder engine which produces 350 horsepower and 350 lb.-ft torque. The additional vents on hood suggest that the RS500 prototype may be packing an updated powertrain with a higher horsepower rating. Other upgrades might include tweaked tyres, suspensions and a braking system.
The 2018 Ford Focus RS500 might launch anytime in 2017.
