The Tesla Ludicrous Mode offered in the Model S is something the luxury electric automaker takes pride on. It significantly improves the performance of the vehicle giving it a speed boost.

However, in a recent interview with Automobile Magazine, Porsche brand manager said that his company has something even better to offer in the new Mission E sports car.

The Porsche Mission E which will soon enter in the production mode will extend ‘something special’ says the brand manager. Targeting Tesla, the Porsche spokesperson mentioned that the Tesla Ludicrous mode is a ‘façade’ and with just two launches, the car battery drains out.

He further stated that such a thing won’t happen with Porsche Mission E and its battery will not get damaged.

The Porsche Mission E is expected to carry an electric drivetrain with 600 horsepower, while there will also be a 500 horsepower version. It will extend an electric range of up to 310 miles.

The Mission E is rumored to arrive some time in 2019.
