The Japanese automaker has just updated the Subaru BRZ for 2017 model year and it packs some impressive new features. A new Special edition, 2017 Subaru BRZ Series will also join the lineup with a sexy yellow paint job and equipped with some serious performance upgrades.
On the inside, the 2017 Subaru BRZ Series will offer comfortable black leather seating with yellow stitching and a yellow BRZ logo embroidered in the middle. The floor mats also feature yellow stitching and BRZ logo.
In the powertrain department, the 2017 Subaru BRZ will feature the same 2.0L 4 cylinder engine whose output has been increased from 200 hp to 205 hp. A 6-speed manual transmission is standard, while a 6 speed automatic gearbox will also be offered. In addition, the Series edition will also feature Brembo brakes and Sachs shock absorbers for a more powerful performance. These are part of the Performance Package.
The 2017 BRZ will arrive at dealerships in September, while the 2017 Subaru BRZ Series edition will arrive next year.
