The 2017 Honda Civic made its debut at the 2015 New York International Show and has already arrived in the USA, but sadly Europe is still driving the ninth-generation Civic. With that said, we might see the new Civic in Europe soon as we have spied an almost undisguised version here.

Comparing to the American model, the 2017 Honda Civic prototype spied in Europe isn’t much different. The most visible difference we can spot is the different colored side marker lights.

The 2017 Honda Civic will reach in Europe in all available body styles including sedan, coupe, hatchback, wagon, Type S, and Type R. The 6-speed manual transmission will be standard in the base model, while a CVT gearbox will also be available. Powertrain options will comprise of a 1.0-litre VTEC Turbo and 1.5-litre VTEC Turbo engine. The Civic Type S and Type R models are expected to carry a 2.0-litre VTEC Turbo engine.

It is expected to debut at the 2016 Paris Motor Show in October.
