The Swedish automaker, Volvo seems all-set to introduce an off-road variant of V90 station wagon dubbed as the 2018 Volvo V90 Cross Country. We have recently caught it test driving somewhere in Southern Europe.
The 2018 Volvo V90 Cross Country was spotted in disguise; however, a few elements were pretty prominent and caught our attention. Compared to the standard V90 Station Wagon, the 2018 Volvo V90 Cross Country boasts a higher ride height and a standard all-wheel drive layout for an ideal off-road performance.
The interior might be same as the V90 station wagon, but since the V90 Cross Country will be priced higher, it may have high-end equipments.
Under the hood, the V90 Cross Country will have a turbocharged and supercharged 2.0L four-cylinder engine which will generate up to 316 horsepower. A more powerful hybrid powertrain is also expected to arrive sometime later.
The Volvo V90 Cross Country will hit the dealerships in early 2017.
