The British automaker, Aston Martin and the Italian coach building company Zagato are all-set to debut their fifth car together dubbed as the Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato at the Concorsod’Eleganza Villa d’Este, this weekend.

Since the Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato concept is based on the standard Vanquish, it carries the same 6.0L V12 engine, however the performance ratings have been upgraded from 569 horsepower to 592 ponnies.

The body kit is fully covered in carbon fibre to keep the weight as low as possible and increase the car’s aerodynamic efficiency. Being designed by Zagato, it features the company’s signature twin-bubble roof, while the Aston Martin design element is visible in the LED headlamps and the front grille.

The interior also boasts carbon fibre trim and luxurious leather seats. The Zagato’s logo can be seen on the headrests, seats and even on the front dash.

Although the Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato is still in concept form, it marks an important milestone in the Aston Martin and Zagato’s partnership.
